My First Draft Advertisement

This is my first draft of an advert that I created for the release of my artists Debut Album. At the moment, our album is called Technicolour but this is just until we have created a more appropriate name.
I chose the colour of the text to be a deep purple, as this matches the CD disc holder and because it is a strong feminine colour. The advert also includes a Star Rating from the newspaper the Daily Mail and also the Radio 1 DJ Fearne Cotton.
The fact that Veronica Summer is off centre but not on the edge of the frame suggests to me that she has more control when it comes to writing her music and she is more of a focus to the audience.
Her body language suggests that she is really relaxed and can be considered to be more innocent and a little shy, but in an effective way.
The costume that we chose for her to wear for this particular image made her seem to be more glamorous and may make her appeal more to the targeted audience. We also decided to have her tattoos still on show so that the audience can see her artistic and more outgoing side.
